Tale of two channels
Posted/Updated Saturday, Aug 18 15:54:26, 2012

The former home minister of Haryana, Gopal Goyal Kanda, is absconding after his name figured in the suicide note of a former employee. Amidst the incessant coverage  one channel is sympathetic:  Haryana News repeatedly scrolls the fact that his family is being harrassed. But another channel called  India News Haryana owned by Congress politician  Venod Sharma repeatedly shows a picture of the absconding former minister and asks viewers to tell the police if they have seen this person. Who owns Haryana News?  Mr Kanda.
