For all the initial hysterical soundbites by windblown reporters, within 24 hours the cyclone Phailin story on TV was turning around to be one with a positive side to it. Across channels--CNN IBN, NDTV 24x7 and Headlines Today--the chief minister, the Odisha administration, the Met Department and the NDRF were coming in for praise for timely warning and evacuation with minimal casualties. Time Now's "25 reporters on the story" were less into giving credit.
